What we are looking for
ComXo is the leading UK provider of global switchboard support services, who are looking to recruit a friendly and reliable individual who takes pride in helping others and providing excellent support when it matters most.
The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, stays calm under pressure, and can confidently find solutions in a fast-paced environment. A polite, professional telephone manner and strong communication skills are essential for delivering a positive experience to every caller.
This role requires the Virtual Personal Assistant to conduct themselves in accordance with the company’s 4P’s values (Politeness, Professionalism, Personality and Proficiency) at all times to internal and external stakeholders.
Please note that all applicants must be UK residents living within a commutable distance to our office based in Datchet, SL3 9ER.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Greeting and navigating inbound calls from our ‘virtual switchboard environment'.
- Speak in a clear, polite, and friendly manner.
- Respond to inbound emails in accordance with requirements of the customer.
- Use a bespoke system to direct callers to the correct department or person.
- Handling enquiries and requests in line with our customers’ wishes.
- Conduct yourself with politeness, proficiency, personality, and professionalism at all times.
We offer a range of shift patterns to suit different availability, as our switchboard runs 24/7. All our roles require a 3-month office-based training period, please consider this before sending in an application.
Experience
- Previous experience in switchboard, telephone reception, customer service, hospitality or in the legal sector.
- Experience of using Microsoft packages – Word, Outlook, Excel
Qualifications
- Educated to minimum GCSE or equivalent
- NVQ in Customer Service is an advantage
