What will you be doing?

ComXo is a dynamic provider of switchboard support services at the most exciting stage of growth. The Recruitment Manager will take on a hybrid role with supporting our people operations and will be responsible for the continued people success; from spearheading recruitment campaigns and on-boarding, through to day-to-day employee support, engagement and development. Working closely with the senior leadership team, this role is pivotal to supporting ComXo in it’s continued success.

This will be a generalist role and the right candidate will be happy to stretch their recruitment and HR skills in any direction needed

Your main Responsibilities would be…


Generate and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates.

Liaise with key internal stakeholders to fully understand business requirements, candidate specifications and role requirements.

Communicate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.

Create engaging, accurate and appealing job descriptions.

Source effective online platforms to advertise and recruit the best talent for the business.

Utilise DNA & Strength finder testing to identify ideal candidates, from internal and external talent pool.

Schedule and manage all stages of the interview process (as shown above)

Liaise with the Finance & Admin team, resource planner and hiring manager to arrange effective inductions.

Regularly monitor and oversee inbound recruitment traffic.

Represent the Company at networking events and fairs; utilising social networking to attract and source new talent.

Continuously review and  strengthen our recruitment process and talent plans, assessing their alignment to the business vision and goals.

Recommend and implement improvements to internal interview practices.

Make recommendations to the Switchboard management team regarding the improvement of staff retention and incentives.

Keep up to date with latest trends and employment markets to gauge our position and presence within the market.

Work with the Marketing Team to define our employer brand.

Engage regularly with the Managing Director and Marketing team to ensure you hold a clear understanding of our company’s image, culture, USPs and reputation.

Act as an ambassador of ComXo.

Keep abreast of internal business changes and keep organisational knowledge strong ensuring a clear understanding on the function and needs of each internal team.

Analyse key recruitment MI to drive improvements, make better recruitment decisions and ultimately improve the quality of talent.

Ensure all aspects of the recruitment process and touchpoints are in accordance with current legislation, GDPR and HR guidelines.

Benchmark roles internally and externally to provide consistency.

Work with managers to develop, maintain and standardise job descriptions.

Carry out exit interviews and make recommendations based on the findings.

Support managers with staff development opportunities.

Prepare, maintain and update employment policies and procedures ensuring that they are legally up to date, alerting management to these changes where necessary.

Provide support at HR meetings and hearings where appropriate.

Provide payroll support when required.
