What will you be doing?

The focus of the role is selling switchboard and business support solutions (navigation, reservation, escalation) into the professional services sector in the city of London.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be required to follow up on all Marketing generated leads, as well as identify direct new business opportunities through self-generated prospecting activity.

Your main Responsibilities would be…

 

Build a rolling funnel of qualified new business opportunities from within the legal, financial and other professional service organisations, which should achieve a level of 3 x quota targets.

The BDM is responsible for creating activities and campaigns to drive pipeline creation. This will include:
-Self-generated leads, based on understanding the target market and profile of an ideal prospect
-Collaborate with marketing to create campaigns to drive funnel creation
-Work with internal resource and/or a telemarketing agency, to maintain a consistent, rolling proactive approach to pipeline creation.

Monitor and be familiar with the full ComXo services capability, value propositions and competitive differentiators.

Primarily responsible for upsell to potential new ComXo clients with quota-carrying targets.

New business opportunities proposals should be within the profit margin guidelines.

To ensure that opportunity is completed to contract stage.

Full handover to Solutions/Projects team for implementation stage.

Full handover to Client Manager to ensure continuity of customer care.

Be disciplined in your sales approach:
-Use and update CRM as the single source of truth to log opportunity status
-Be accurate in forecasting
-Apply sales methodology, to understand the customer decision making criteria and buying cycle in order to influence it in ComXo’s favour.

Proactive outreach to contact potential partners for new business opportunities.

Building, maintaining, managing and developing long-term relationships with current and prospective international partners.

Any other relevant duties that are required, from time to time.
